This tutorial will guide you through the process of editing and proofreading your manuscript. Let’s get started!

Once you’ve successfully uploaded your manuscript The option for editing and proofreading will now become available.

first, wait for your manuscript to load.
The loading duration may vary depending on the length of your book.

Now, let’s explore the array of tools at your disposal for effectively proofreading your text.

The first tool is the Grammar Checker.
This tool will help you correct grammar errors and spelling mistakes.
After clicking on it, allow a moment for it to load.

To expand the Grammar Tool’s scope to cover more of the book, simply scroll down.

Words with spelling errors or grammar suggestions will be highlighted in red.
By clicking on these words, you will receive suggestions for correcting the spelling and grammar,
You can either apply or disregard these suggestions.

Alternatively, you can directly click on the words in the right sidebar to navigate directly to them.

Remember: fixing one grammar error might lead to the discovery of another. Take your time to review and improve grammar and spelling

Moving on to the Synonyms tool.
This feature allows you to discover synonyms for any word and replace it with one click.
Simply mark the word and click the Regenerate button.

From the suggestions provided, choose the synonym that best fits your book.

Let’s explore the Expression Style tool.
With this feature, you can rephrase any sentence in various styles,
such as comedians, screenwriters, musicians and even imitating public figures.

To utilize this tool, simply mark the desired text
and choose from the available styles.

for more options, you can either click the load more button
or use the search bar.

After selecting the expression style, click “Replace” to transform the text accordingly.

Now, let’s delve into the Rewrite tool.
This tool enables you to modify the genre of any text segment.
You can switch it to artistic, biblical, dramatic, or fiction, among other options.

After picking the genre, you can decide whether to maintain the original length or make it shorter or longer.
Click “Rewrite” to generate a suggestion and then “Replace” to incorporate the AI’s new proposal.

Feel at ease knowing that you can always use “Ctrl + Z” to undo any changes made along the way.

you can use the tools located In the upper section bar
to find and replace any specific word in the book.

alter text attributes like size, font, color, background color, and apply formatting such as bold, italic, and underlining.

Furthermore, you can create headings, align the text, generate bulleted lists, insert quotes, and add page breaks.

Upon successfully completing the proofreading process,
it’s mandatory to click “Finish Proofreading.”
Upon confirming, you acknowledge that further changes or edits will  require initiating a new revision.

keep in mind: After completing this step, you can still make changes before your book is sent for formatting,
but Once formatting begins, the option to continue proofreading will no longer be accessible.

After concluding the process, click “Finish Proofreading” and confirm once more to ensure the changes are securely saved.

If, during or after the proofreading process, you decide to upload a new manuscript, you will encounter two choices upon re-entering the proofreading stage.

You can either discard all prior changes and open the new manuscript or persist with your ongoing work and disregard the newly uploaded manuscript.
